Very nice. I like how you managed to make the graphics very nice and still keep that Dungeon Keeper feeling, unlike what DK2 did (better graphics, but didn't have that "feeling").
One quick question though. You said you where thinking of dropping some things, like the skavanger room. Will you be updating the drap/door system to be similar to that of DK2? It was a lot better when it wasn't totally random what was build.
yes, like dotted said, in DK1, your minions just make whatever they feel like, and if you are lucky, they'll make what you need.
In DK2, you place a blueprint on the fly from the menu, and then, your minions creates traps and doors for what you have placed out. Imps then drag the trap/door package over to the blueprint and makes it a real trap/door.
there are pro's and con's for both, actually. The DK2 way is much better since it give you more control and freedom over what you want to make, BUT, your minions can only make stuff you especially order. That means that if there currently aren't any blueprints waiting, (you are for example busy in a fight), then your minions won't be able to do anything in the workshop. That is wasted production time.
Another point is, you have to know where to place your trap/door beforehand. You can't "have one ready" for when you capture that enemy room. You have to capture the room and THEN place the blueprint, and THEN your minions can start making it.
I propose a combination of these two. If you have blueprints placed, your minions will make them (like DK2), but you there aren't any blueprints currently placed, your minions will make random traps and doors, so that you have them ready (like DK1).
Afcourse there is a forum 3 of them actually. The first one is in slovene language so i think you won't find any use of it. The second one is french (but we talk english there) and the third one is english. Pick one you like:
